Chelsea are set to miss yet another transfer target to a rival. Man City are poised to beat the Blues to the signing of Juventus left back Alex Sandro this month.
Chelsea must be getting tires of the same old story. Last summer the club were beaten to a handful of their top targets by rival clubs and the same thing is happening again in the January window.

Long term Blues target Alex Sandro of Juventus looks set to choose Manchester City over the Londoners. The league leaders have come in at the last-minute and are set to offer the Brazilian a huge deal to move to the Etihad.

Man City have been struggling at left back all season after Bernard Mendy’s injury early in the year. Fabian Delph has performed wonders as a make shift left back. However the Citizens want bolster their squad options as they compete on all fronts.

Despite the imminent signing of Ross Barkley, Chelsea fans must be sick of losing out to their rivals. Manchester United beat them to the signing of Romelu Lukaku in the summer while Man City were able to get the aforementioned Mendy.

As the Blues grew more desperate they received no more luck. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain turned down more money at Chelsea to join Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. Then Fernando Llorente decided he’d rather be the backup to Harry Kane at Tottenham than for Morata at Chelsea.

Antonio Conte has a reputation for being a hard manager to work with. Sandro has probably heard from international teammate David Luiz about life under the Italian boss. I’m sure Diego Costa would also have some interesting things to tell his birth countryman. As Man City are ready to scoop a third EPL title the transfer choice is a simple one for Sandro.
